Hello, and thank you for visiting. I am a fully qualified person-centred therapist, offering a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where you can safely explore and heal whatever may be holding you back or contributing to unhappiness. I provide personalised sessions tailored to your unique needs, drawing on an integrative approach. Alongside talk therapy, I am certified in EMDR, a well-established therapeutic approach originally developed for trauma and now widely used to support concerns such as anxiety, depression, and attachment-related difficulties. I have also trained extensively in IFS-informed EMDR, and I value how these two models (EMDR and IFS) work together to support deep and lasting change.
With a strong emphasis on relational safety, I support clients in understanding their perceived challenges and limitations through a self-compassionate lens, recognising that everything we do—and have done—has served a purpose in our survival. From this perspective, clients are able to access new insights and begin to find different, more supportive pathways forward.
I am originally from the United States, where I practised for many years. Having had the privilege of working with diverse populations, I bring a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to my work, and I consider it an honour to support individuals of all ages, cultures, races, religions, ethnicities, abilities, neurodiversity, genders, and sexual orientations.
By offering a caring and supportive environment, my aim is to help you recognise your own capacity for well-being and happiness. My practice is fully remote, allowing me to work with clients anywhere in the UK.
I pay particular attention not only to what happens in the "thinking mind," but also to how emotions and past experiences are stored and held in the body. By integrating talk therapy, EMDR, IFS and somatic approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to achieve well-being and self-acceptance. Above all, I endeavour to create a safe space to experience helpful ways of coping and relating.
Areas of focus include, among others: trauma, attachment, depression, anxiety, family of origin and developmental challenges, identity and self-worth. I work with clients aged 18 and over for weekly or fortnightly sessions.

EMDR is a highly effective therapeutic approach, which creates lasting healing and change. EMDR works to heal trauma and difficult experiences from the past and present, but it has also proven effective for depression, anxiety, attachment styles, phobias and many other presentations. Often times, clients report "knowing" what the issues are, but feeling powerless to change them. EMDR works a bit differently to purely cognitive approaches, in that it also addresses the underlying and automatic emotions, patterns and nervous system responses that are stored with negative experiences and trauma. EMDR, which utilises eye movements or another form of bilateral stimulation such as auditory tones (don't worry...it sounds weirder than it actually is!), is fully applicable to an online platform and in fact, many appreciate the benefits of accessing this type of healing work in the comfort and safety of their own space. While EMDR blends seamlessly with other therapeutic approaches, clients are not obligated to utilise this protocol and can opt for talk therapy. For more information, please visit these links:
